About St. Canice Catholic Church

In 1867 St. Canice Catholic Church was established as Parish when Father James Clare became the first Pastor of St. Canice Church in Nevada City, CA.

Today the Parish community consists of approximately 500 families, many of whom pariticipate in various liturgical, spiritual, service and social ministries.
